Final week was monumental for people who prefer to gaze into the heavens—each throughout the area group and out of doors it—with the discharge of the James Webb Area Telescope’s first pictures. From the majestic Carina Nebula to a vigorous dance between galaxies, the photographs even moved one physicist to tears. With all of the intergalactic happenings, it’s solely becoming that this week’s problem is all in regards to the sky and area.

This week’s theme
For this week’s Picture of the Day problem, we wish to see your greatest pictures of the sky and area. Movie, digital, prompt, B&W, colour, sepia, what-have-you. It’s all welcome. Present us your favourite dawn or sundown, a smattering of stars, a Harvest Moon. In spite of everything, the sky is usually a metaphor that represents limitless potentialities, so don’t be afraid to get artistic.
How one can enter
To submit, use #popphotooftheday on Instagram or Twitter, or undergo our Flickr pool or (NEW!) Fb group. If becoming a member of the Fb group, please reply the membership questions and conform to the group guidelines—that is in effort to stop spam. We’ll decline your request if you don’t conform to the group guidelines.
